ELIGIBILITY

To be eligible for participation in the Immaculate Conception Confirmation Preparation Program -- and for the Celebration of Confirmation at Immaculate Conception on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 -- a candidate:

• must be in at least the 11th grade
• must attend Sunday Eucharist regularly
• must be in the process of completing a 2nd full year of catechetical instruction in either a Catholic school or parish PSR (CCD) program

SACRAMENTAL PREPARATION

In addition to one’s on-going catechetical instruction, candidates must also commit to full participation in our preparation program. This includes:

• six two-hour sessions February 22, March 1, March 8, March 15, March 22, and March 29 held on Sunday afternoons from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Jesuit High School. 
  • Except in the case of serious illness or an emergency, students are not allowed to miss any of the sessions.  When such an emergency situation necessitates an absence, the student will be required to attend a special additional session scheduled for April 7, immediately before the confirmation rehearsal.  No accommodations can be made if a student misses more than one of the sessions. 
• completion of three hours of approved service
• attendance at a one-day retreat for the Confirmation class
• attendance, with one's sponsor, at a one-hour confirmation rehearsal scheduled for Tuesday afternoon, April 7 at 5:00 pm
• participation, with one's sponsor, at the confirmation liturgy scheduled for Wednesday evening, April 8, at 7:00pm, at which Archbishop Gregory Aymond will preside.

FEES

In order to offset the cost of materials and supplies, a fee of $100 is requested for each confirmation candidate.

REGISTRATION

Registration for the confirmation preparation program consists of two parts: (1) the submission of a registration form, and (2) the submission of required documents and the program fee by the time of the first class session on February 22..  To complete the registration form, please click on the tab entitled "Confirmation Registration Form.
